· Provide a forum to encourage collaboration between academic, industrial, scientific and technology groups · Create a situation of mutual advantage, with an ethos of openness not exclusivity for those involved in research, development and use of advanced visualisation systems · Identify areas for future research and develop funding proposals · Collate and maintain a comprehensive research profile of those specialising in advanced visualisation systems · Build a UK body with an international profile and reputation for high quality research in this area · Extend membership and become self-sufficient within two years. |
