Foresight Vehicle, now administered by SMMT, is the UK's prime knowledge transfer network for the automotive industry.
This R&D programme aims to promote technology and stimulate suppliers to develop market driven enabling technologies for future motor vehicles (cars, taxis, HGVs, buses and light commercial vans).
These vehicles must satisfy stringent environmental requirements, and meet expectations for safety, cost, performance and desirability.
