DTI Technology Programme

The DTI Call for Proposals was announced on 26 April for collaborative research and development (R&D) and for knowledge transfer networks. The call includes topics relevant to the Foresight Vehicle Technology RoadMap. Themes include:

Technologies for environmentally friendly transport
Advanced composite materials and structures
Sensors and control systems
Renewable technologies .

Funding Regime

The rules for the call are similar to the old LINK funding arrangements except the funding has three bands; 75%, 50%, 25%.These bands change if there is no university involved.

Foresight Vehicle have established links with the Aerospace sector in order to form joint bids with some of the work being carried out by aerospace companies and some by automotive companies.
